How old were you when you first started playing golf?

I came to a taster session at Barnham Broom when I was five and carried on from there.

What made you or inspired you to take up golf?

I used to love playing crazy golf and would watch the golfers on the driving range.

What do you enjoy most about playing golf?

Meeting new people, taking part in competitions and trying to improve my game.

What do you think is the best reason to play golf at Barnham Broom?

Which course do you prefer – Pennink or Steel?

I prefer the Steel as it’s more scenic and I find it more varied and enjoyable.

What is your favourite golf hole at Barnham Broom?

The 13th on the Pennink as it has a very interesting layout. Its challenging even though it is a short par 3

What clubs do you have in the bag?

Taylor Made irons, hybrid and fairway woods along with a Ping driver and a blade putter.

What is your favourite golf club in your bag and why?

It’s the driver of course … I love the sound it makes when I strike it well.

What do you need to play your best golf?

Patience, concentration and good weather helps too.

Who is your favourite professional golf player and what makes them your choice?

What is your best achievement in golf so far?

Winning the Founders Cup with my playing partner Chris and winning the Davis Cup two years in row.

What is your ambition for your golf?

My ambition is to keep on improving and to continue to enjoy the game.
